the itinerary
Day 1 – Thursday, November 14 - Arrival in Cairo. You will be met at the Cairo airport and escorted through customs, visa and baggage claim. Transfer to our Giza hotel at the foot of the Pyramids. Overnight Giza.
Day 2 - Friday, November 15 – Saqqara -Full Moon in Taurus
Early breakfast and then drive through the picturesque countryside of Memphis/Saqqara area, which was Egypt’s first capital. Our first stop is the Imhotep Museum, which honors the famous high priest, magician and architect, Imhotep, who built the Stepped Pyramid of Saqqara. Next stop is the Pyramid of Unas, which contains the first encoded texts for Ascension in ancient Egypt. We also view the underground burial chamber of King Zoser deep below the stepped Pyramid built by Imhotep. After lunch at the beautiful oasis-like setting of the Saqqara Palm Club, we stop at al local carpet school to learn about traditional weaving. Return to our hotel. Full Moon over the Giza Plateau! Overnight Giza.(B, L).
Day 3 – Saturday, November 16 - Giza Pyramids Overview & New Grand Egyptian Museum Tour. Today, we visit the most magnificent wonders of the world, the Giza Pyramids and “stargate” Sphinx. We will have a specially arranged tour inside the GRAND EGYPTIAN MUSEUM and lunch at the pyramids. Afternoon free for Egyptian essential oil shopping. Overnight Giza. (B,L)
Day 4 – Sunday, November 17 – Cairo- Luxor -After breakfast, check out of Giza Hotel for our transfer to Cairo Airport and flight to Luxor. We will check into the luxurious Luxor Hilton on the Nile. After check-in we will regroup for meeting with Mary and tour of hotel & lunch. Experience your first Sunset tea on the Nile. Dinner and Overnight Hilton. (B)
Day 5 – Monday, November 18 – Luxor – West Bank
For those who wish, this will be your optional day for sunrise hot-air balloon over the West Bank. Reservations must be made in advance for pre-dawn pick-up and return to hotel for breakfast. Today, we West Bank visit to the amazingly beautiful Temple of Queen & Pharoah, Hathshepsut. We will also tour the Valley of the Kings, and the home of Howard Carter, the archaeologist who discovered King Tutankhamun’s tomb. There is a replica of the original tomb onsite here. Lunch will be at a traditional restaurant on the West Bank; and afterwards visit to a local alabaster factory renowned for its hand-crafted alabaster and sculpted stone artifacts. Return to Hotel. Overnight Hilton. (B, L).
Day 6 – Tuesday, November 19 – Luxor – Karnak
Today we experience our personal initiation with the Goddess Sekhmet in her Sanctuary at Karnak, the largest and most magnificent Temple of ancient Egypt.
Sekhmet is the Mother of the Blue Lotus and the powerful female deity of healing and magic. Prepare for transformation! Next, we will have quiet time to process at the hidden gem of Karnak, the open air Chapel Rouge of Hathshepsut. Afterwards, we will continue to explore this vast temple complex at our leisure, finally arriving at the Sacred Lake for some light refreshment before heading back to the hotel. Afternoon free for spa, relaxing by pool. Group meeting with Mary at dinner. Overnight Hilton. (B)
Day 7 - Wednesday, November 20 – Luxor - Abydos/Dendera.
Early morning check out of hotel and drive by private bus to Dendera Temple dedicated to the Goddess Hathor, the Goddess of Beauty, Love, Music, Dancing, Aromatherapy & Astrology, to name a few. Dendera is an extremely ancient site dedicated to the Great Mother Goddess and was not only a temple, but an academy of Sacred Arts & Sciences, as well as dream healing center. Mary will explain the Mystery School of the Blue Lotus as taught here. You can have your boxed lunch here (from Hilton) before we proceed to drive to Abydos (2+hrs). Upon arrival, check into House of Life Hotel. Dinner and overnight House of Life. (B, L,D).
Day 8 – Thursday November 21 – Abydos
Morning visit to Abydos Temple, one of the most well-preserved in Egypt, called the “Sistine Chapel” of ancient Egyptian art. We will also view the mysterious megalithic burial site of Osiris, called the Oserion, one of the oldest sites in ancient Egypt. Lunch at a local restaurant. Return to hotel to rest, Group meditation and meeting. Dinner and Overnight House of Life. (B, D)
Day 9 –Friday November 22 – Abydos- Luxor After breakfast, check out of hotel and drive back to Luxor (4 Hrs) with lunch box provided. Check back into Hilton. Dinner and Overnight Hilton. (B, L)
Day 10 – Saturday, November 23 - Luxor- Cairo
Check out of Luxor Hilton and transfer airport for flight to Cairo. You will be met at airport and transported to Airport Meridien. Your transfer agent will give you specific details for your international transfer. (B)
Day 11 –Sunday, November 24 - Cairo – International flights.

Day 1 – Saturday, Nov 23 - Check into the Marsam Hotel, the famous hotel located amidst the archaeological sites of the West Bank and in close proximity to the Lotus House. You will experience your first afternoon meditation at the Lotus House with Blue Lotus while they are in full bloom. Dinner and Overnight Marsam Hotel. (B)
Day 2 Sunday, Nov 24 – After breakfast, we visit Medinet Habu Temple, called the “Temple of Dreams”. Queen Hatshepsut was the first to build here and dedicated her chapel to the sacred Ogdoad of Egypt. Later Pharaohs Amenhotep III, Akhenaten Ramsess II, and finally the 26th dynasty Nubian Queens, all added to the temple. Afterwards, you will enjoy a delicious lunch at our local restaurant overlooking the temple. Afternoon meditation at the Lotus House before sunset. Dinner and Overnight Marsam Hotel. (B, L)
Day 3 Monday, Nov 25 – After an early breakfast, we will experience a morning of meditation and integration at the Lotus House. You will be gifted your personal Messages from the Blue Star Lotus. Later, weather permitting, we can take a sunset felucca ride on the Nile. Farewell Dinner at local restaurant overlooking the Nile.
Day 4 - Tuesday, Nov 26 –Check out of the Marsam Hotel. Transfer to Luxor airport for Cairo flight. Check into Airport Meridien. Your transfer representative in Cairo will let you know the time of your airport pickup for international departure flights. (B)

Mary Lomando is a Jungian astrologer with an extensive background in Egyptology, psychology, and metaphysics. She has lived and worked in Egypt, where she completed her degree in Egyptology studying with the foremost archaeologists of our time.
